Graduate Program

To manage future challenges in a dynamic market and stay on top of our competitors, Straumann is looking to develop young, energetic and passionate individuals. We offer on-the-job training for your future Straumann career.

Our Graduates take on a series of positions in different divisions, giving them an excellent overview of the Group and a unique cross-company and networking experience. They learn about functional and general business aspects and are – to a certain extent – able to plan their program to suit their individual interests and development requirements. They further benefit from different training modules and an international assignment to one of our subsidiaries.

The Straumann Graduate Program lasts for approximately 18 months. For the complete period, each graduate will be supervised by a mentor from Senior Management.

You are the person we are looking for if you completed your studies with good grades, already obtained initial practical experience, are fluent in English, are flexible with respect to an assignment abroad, and show a hands-on attitude.


Straumann headquarters in Basel offers apprenticeships in IT, polymechanics, construction, and business administration. Our apprentices work in a regulated training scheme for 3-4 years. Overall, Straumann HQ employs approximately 10 apprentices in different areas.


We offer a limited number of industry internships, depending on the availability of suitable project work. We are looking for motivated, advanced students (4 or more completed semesters, intermediate diploma) who are eager to learn and who are waiting to apply their academic expertise to practice.
